OMG, I can not say enough about this place. Had my puppy spayed and from the first call I made asking about the cost and procedure, all the way to the extra visits I made because I was nervous my puppy wasn't feeling well, they were sooooooo helpful, caring and accommodating. You can tell everyone there is all about the pets and not nickel and diming you about the costs which are extremely reasonable to being with! Keep in mind this is just a vet for surgeries and does not replace your every day vet because they are only open a few days a week. BUT, even when they are not open, they make themselves very available in case you have any concerns about your pets surgery and after care. They are also very proactive about keeping you informed the whole way through the surgery and even call to check up with you once your pet is back home. I highly recommend LI Animal Surgery to anyone in need! Thank you to the entire staff, especially Sue, for taking such good care of my Xena baby and not making me feel silly for worrying so much about my little faker girl ??

I brought my Chihuahua Sonny in for ACL and knee surgery on 9/21/16 I am extremely pleased with the care that Long Island Animal Surgery took care of him. Sue is EXCELLENT! She is so caring, professional and thorough beginning with her first call to me about the surgery procedure (she called me back even after hours) until after the surgery was performed with complete instructions on home care and what I should expect for his recovery process. I can not say enough good things about her. Dr. Infernuso performed his surgery and gave me a call to explain how the surgery went. The cost of the surgery was very reasonable. When I first got Sonny 4 years ago I also brought him there to be neutered and the staff at that time was also very good. I would definitely recommend Long Island Animal Surgery to anyone who has a pet in need of any type of surgery.

I recently rescued a 10 y.o. dog named Bailey and she is a purebred Samoyed. 2 weeks after we brought her home she tore her ACL. A co-worker recommended Long Island Animal Surgery and we could not be more pleased with the care and professionalism of the staff. Sue is amazing, caring, and compassionate. She made us and Bailey totally at ease during a very scary time. The post-op instructions were very thorough. Dr. Infernuso did an incredible job with the surgery and took the time to explain everything he did to Bailey and answers all my questions. Being in the medical profession myself, I really appreciated all of their efforts. We highly recommend this place.

My dog Bella needed intricate surgery for an anal glad removal and mass. She had a very bad infection and was really suffering. I was really distraught over the situation due to the fact when calling around the pricing for surgery was absolutely crazy. My Vet recommended L.I. Animal surgery, called and spoke with Sue Reising. She really went above and beyond to help us. The price was great considering what others wanted but I was Leary about what kind of care Bella would get. Well, I waited 5 months before posting my review. I wanted to make sure I was not exaggerating any aspect of my dogs surgery and recovery. Dr.Infernuso did a fabulous job. He was right on his game. I know Bella was really messed up back there, but he did a great job of getting her back together and functioning. She is doing Excellent and is a happy healthy dog. No issues. I can’t say enough about Sue, she really took care of us and made it all happen. She was a God send. The only thing that I would say that maybe came with the lower price, is that the dog goes right home after surgery. For us though, that worked out perfect. Bella couldn’t wait to get the heck out of there:) and no one is going to take care and watch my dog like me. So that worked well for us. I wish both Dr. Infernuso and Sue all the best and cant thank them and the staff enough.posting 2/2016

On June 29th 2015, Dr. Harrison performed surgery to repair a torn ACL, and stabilize the kneecap (since she was in there) on my little dog Tink. Dr. H came very highly recommended by my Vet and people who have had surgery performed by her on their dogs. Every detail of the surgery and aftercare were geared toward the comfort and care of my dog. The aftercare was left to the staff. Empathy and concern for my dog was evident in everyone there.
Three weeks later July 22nd, Tinks other knee went (there was a 50/50 chance that it would go within 6 months) and she had to have cruciate surgery. I was devastated. How was her other knee going to support her after only three weeks? It has, and the thanks again goes to Dr. H. Her 2nd surgery was performed by Dr.Tomas Infernuso. All I knew about him was what I read on the internet, and that the staff assured me and was confident that Tink would be in good hands. The surgery went fine and Little T is on the mend. The true heroes are the staff of LIAS. The post-operative care being provided by Sue and the Crew shows their great compassion and a commitment to the well being of their little patient. Thank you all so very, very much.

We can't say enough positive things about Long Island Animal Surgery. They were friendly, accommodating and helpful from beginning to end. We had one of our dogs neutered there and are so glad that we chose this place. The entire staff truly cares for the animals and provide affordable care without taking away any of the quality. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our baby!

Last year, I decided to have my adult Australian shepherd neutered. It was very hard to find a quality vet who was also within my price range. I was so happy with my service and experience with Long Island Animal Surgery. They noticed, while he was under anesthesia, a rash on his stomach that had been unresponsive to suggestions from my normal vet. (We were told it was allergies and spent quite a bit of money on dietary changes and topical treatments). They gave me antibiotics for a skin infection, and it has cleared up with no return for this whole year. They treated him so well, and were so understanding to the needs and concerns of an overly-neurotic fur mom, that I brought my 6 month old mini aussie there for his neutering as well. Not to be disappointed, they were kind and considerate with me, and gave the best care to my little one. I would recommend them to anyone who considers their pets family, but are on a financial budget. 100% satisfaction from the staff to the care!

We took our puppy Roxie to Dr Harrison and staff for spaying and was so impressed w/their honesty, quality and affordability that we brought her back when she swallowed a part of a toy that was stuck in her intestines. Although Roxie didn't make it, (we are very heartbroken), the staff and especially Dr Harrison were so upset you would have thought it was their own dog. I can confidently say they really did do everything they possibly could to save her. Unfortunately it just wasn't meant to be. I would highly recommend this kind compassionate doctor and her staff to anyone who's pet needs surgery.

we love dr mary, she performed the megacolon surgery on my precious biggy boy, he's a seven year old maine coon mix who desperately needed help passing solids. after dr mary performed the surgery, he's not only passing stools normally, he is more vibrant and playful then i've ever seen him. biggy boy is like a kid again lol. anyway, thank you dr laura for the great work and successful outcome for my baby boy. i also want to thank that great team of yours because i suffer from major anxiety and they were very understanding, i never felt foolish crying over my cat's ailment. you all understood how much my little family member meant to me and your compassion and kindness was beyond a blessing. i am so grateful, more than words, for the awesome love you showed to biggy boy when he was in your care. God bless you and thank you all. may you prosper in all you do, amen!
